About us

Hello Remnantistas,

Pull up a chair whilst we introduce ourselves…We here at Designer Remnants are passionate about beautiful fabrics and making fabulous things with them. We also love a bargain. We’ve been in the fabric trade for over 20 years, so know a great fabric when we see it. We love it when a customer finds a beautiful textile and turns it into something that they will cherish for many years to come. Our aim with this site is to showcase the great gorgeousness that is out there in the wonderful world of fabric.

If you have any questions or queries about our products, please use our Contact Us page.

If you have a specific fabric requirement which you do not see listed in our products, do not despair…if it is a current fabric design we have accounts with all the major (and a lot of the minor) fabric manufacturers. If it is a discontinued design, we may still be able to obtain it for you. Email us details of the fabric and the meterage you require (if you don’t know the name of a fabric, we are often able to identify a fabric from a photograph) and we will do our upmost to find your fabric.

As well as DesignerRemnants.co.uk, we also own and run a “bricks and mortar” shop in Frome in sunny Somerset in the South West of England.  If you’re ever passing, why not drop in and say hello, we always have loads of fabulous fabrics, wallpapers and furniture on display. You can also check out our “real life” remnant room – which is full of lovely stuff that we do not list on the website.

We also have awesome clearance warehouse in Frome (open on Saturdays) where we clear out loads of fabrics for silly prices.

A few housekeeping notes about DesignerRemnants.co.uk…

All products listed on our remnant website are clearance and are non returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Unfortunately as our products are one-off remnants, we are unable to provide samples (as we’d not have any fabric left to sell you – gulp).

Please bear in mind that your computer screen resolution may be different to ours and the colour of our remnants in “real life” may vary from what you see on your monitor.
